Join the Chorus and over 400 friends for a festive celebration benefiting the BGMC at Boston’s hottest venue, House of Blues. Enjoy hors d’oeuvres, cocktails, fun, inspiration, furious bidding on a range of fabulous items and unique entertainment.

This year’s special guest is Jennifer Coolidge whose stand-up comedy performance will be the highlight of the evening. Best known for her comedic roles in the films American Pie, Legally Blonde and Best in Show, Coolidge is bringing her stand-up act to Crescendo, capping the evening her hilarious trademark humor and Hollywood observations.

Crescendo is the BGMC’s most important event of the year, raising crucial funds to support our mission of using music to create a more tolerant society. For the past 29 years, the Chorus has used the transformative power of music to tell our stories and build bridges to all people by providing a positive, affirming image of the gay and lesbian community. As New England’s largest gay cultural organization and one of the largest gay choruses in the world, we serve as role models, showcasing the talent and diversity of the GLBT community and sharing the reality of the gay experience that connects our audience to our common humanity.

Donate to the Crescendo Auction
The 2011 Auction Committee is currently seeking donations of unique items and services for the silent and live auctions. Donors find the event to be a great marketing opportunity, generating goodwill and visibility to the BGMC’s progressive and upscale supporters. In thanks, auction donors will be formally recognized in the Crescendo program (est. 500) and in the BGMC’s June concert program (est. 3,000). Donors will also receive an acknowledgment and thank you letter following the event. The Chorus can also offer additional benefits for donations with a cash value over $500 (contact the Auction Committee at the email address below for more details).
