Online Purchases

The BGMC’s online store uses a “Virtual Shopping Cart” to collect your order as you shop. To add an item to your cart, select the appropriate options on the page describing the item and then click the “Buy Now” or “Contribute Now” button. Clicking the “View Cart ” button at the top right of every page will show the current contents of the shopping cart. You may change the quantity of any item in the shopping cart by typing a new value in this list and clicking the arrow button. To remove an item from your cart, set its quantity to zero. You may also use the “Empty Shopping Cart” link to remove all items from the cart. The “Continue Shopping” button takes you back to the page for the item you added to the cart so you may continue to shop. Clicking the “Check Out” button from any of the pages inside the store or from the Shopping Cart Contents page will take you to the final check-out page where you enter your payment and shipping information to finalize your order. When checking out of the store, please be sure to fill in all of the fields requested, including name, mailing address, email address, and phone number, so we can ensure you the highest possible quality of service.


Payment Options

Online purchases may be made using a credit card (VISA, MasterCard, or Discover). You may complete credit card orders entirely online.


Ticket Sales

BGMC Website:
All tickets ordered online directly from the BGMC will be held at the door to be picked up at the performance hall’s “Will Call” window on the day of the show, starting one hour prior to the show. An email confirmation will be sent to you once your order is processed, generally within one business day. Our online ticketing selection is not automated, so we will assign you the very best available seating at the time we receive your order. In the rare event that we are unable to fill your order, we will contact you via email or telephone immediately.

Other Vendors:
Because we perform in a variety of different theaters and halls throughout the season, online ticket ordering options vary from show to show. Some venues, such as Cutler Majestic Theater and the Opera House, do not allow us to sell tickets ourselves and require us by contract to forward you to their online ticket seller, such as Telecharge or Ticketmaster. In those cases, we provide you with a link to that website. Those websites maintain their own policies regarding ticketing, delivery, and service charges. Please contact the BGMC office if you would like information on alternate purchase options, such as buying in person at the venue box office.


Shipping and Handling Fees for CDs

Within the continental United States and Canada, orders are shipped via the United States Postal Service. The cost for shipping is as follows: The first CD is $2.00 (USD); additional CDs are $1.00 (USD) each. Shipping costs for orders going to countries outside the U.S. and Canada will be determined on a per-order basis. The Chorus office will contact you by email or telephone to verify the total cost of the order including shipping charges before sending your merchandise.


Sales Tax

We do not add sales tax to the purchase of tickets, however a 5% sales tax will be added to all merchandise orders shipped within Massachusetts. When checking out, please be sure to answer the question about whether you live in Massachusetts so that the shopping cart can correctly calculate the sales tax for your order.


Return Policy

Please note that all individual concert ticket sales are final. We will be happy to accommodate requests by season subscription ticket holders to exchange ticket dates and times, as availability allows. Please contact the Chorus office at (617) 542-SING (7464) or tickets@bgmc.org for assistance.


Online Security

The online store makes use of a Secure Socket Layer (SSL) server to protect your payment information. To prevent unnecessary slowness on the server, this functionality is limited to the final check-out page, so only then will you see the “padlock” icon in your web browser that indicates a secure connection.
